Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use our website – regardless of disability, device or assistive technology.

Compliance status

This website follows the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549. The aim is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The website is largely accessible; exceptions are listed below.

Measures implemented

  • Full keyboard operability, visible focus and a “Skip to content” link
  • Clear heading structure, landmarks and breadcrumb navigation
  • Sufficient colour contrast in light and dark mode; the display follows your system setting and can be switched
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting
  • Forms with labelled fields, hints and an error summary with jump links
  • Spam protection without picture puzzles: a parking captcha using a slider (also operable with the arrow keys) and an audio alternative
  • Zoom up to 400 % without horizontal scrolling, responsive layout
  • Image galleries with keyboard control and image descriptions

Known limitations

  • Vehicle images and vehicle descriptions are imported automatically from mobile.de. The images therefore only have generic descriptions (vehicle and image number); descriptions may contain abbreviations and are only available in German.
  • The official PDF forms of the driving school (e.g. the application for a driving licence) are templates provided by the authorities, are only available in German and are not fully accessible. We will gladly fill them in together with you.
  • The optional directions map (OpenStreetMap) is not fully accessible. The address is also provided as text.
  • Some content, such as customer reviews and job advertisements, is only available in German.
